Women are WatchingTake the Women are Watching Pledge!

Staff and volunteers of Planned Parenthood Advocates of Indiana are working with our colleagues across the country and at the national Planned Parenthood Action Fund to organize the Women are Watching campaign.

The goals of Women Are Watching are to:

  • educate women across the country about the unprecedented attacks on women's health and where candidates stand on pivotal health care issues;
  • empower women to hold anti-women's health candidates of either party accountable, and
  • work to elect pro-women's health candidates up and down the ballot.

In all branches of government, the future of women's health hangs in the balance. In 2012, Hoosier women have the power to choose which candidates will ultimately determine whether our health will be supported and our health care remains accessible. We're 51% of Indiana's population and it's time that we are heard!

Women are watching, educating their friends, sharing, taking action, and WE WILL BE VOTING.

How you can get involved:

  • Take the Women are Watching pledge to let candidates for office know that we hear what they are saying, we see what they are doing, and we're watching.
  • Become a member of Planned Parenthood Advocates today. Your membership donation will help us elect pro-choice politicians and pass pro-prevention legislation in Indiana and at the national level.
  • Volunteer. We need help reaching out to new supporters, registering new voters, organizing events, and working for pro-choice, pro-prevention candidates.

Take the pledge now! In the spring, the campaign will roll out the agenda for women's health for the next U.S. President, the next Indiana governor, and of course, our legislators as well. All summer long we'll be working to bring voters together with the right candidates. And come November, we will all march to our local polling places to vote for pro-prevention political change!
